A few days ago I asked you<\/a> what you think would be a good platform to get announcements about new posts any maybe also start discussions or simply chatting.<\/p>\n

Discord was mentioned quite often in your comments. I did some research – as I didn’t know much about it – and it does indeed offer some features I was looking for. I also like that it is you<\/em> who decides what you want to see and not some algorithm. So I set up a phillipreeve.net Discord server<\/a> where already some of you joined.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Will it be successful? I have no idea. As with all these platforms its success also relies a bit on your feedback and engagement, so I hope some of you will join me there. I will try my best to make it worthwhile for you by providing interesting content.<\/p>\n

For those that follow us on facebook<\/a>: nothing will change here, you will still get notified about new posts as you are used to.
\nThe problem with facebook are the underlying algorithms: even if I have material I am sure you are interested in, I cannot make two posts in one day, as at least one of them will have close to zero range then. Therefore here I have to focus on the really “important” things like the release of new reviews.<\/p>\n

I also added a new Social Media page<\/a> to the header bar to raise the awareness of these (new) communication options.<\/p>\n
