Kodak Portra 800

In 2023 Kodak Portra 800 is the fastest (or rather most sensitive) color negative film that is still in production. Ever since using that awful Cinestill 800T I was curious what results from a real ISO 800 color film will look like, so here we are.
Exposed as ISO400. Processing (ECN-2) and scanning was done at Silbersalz35 in Germany.

Analogue Adventures – Part 25: Wolfen Color NC500 ECN-2

Wolfen Color NC500

In early 2023 I managed to buy two rolls of the ORWO Wolfen NC 500 color negative film and it is something special for several reasons, so let’s have a closer look.
Processing (ECN-2) and scanning was done at Silbersalz35 in Germany.

Analogue Adventures Part 24: Agfa APX400

After buying the Leica M6 I bought whatever films I could find and among those also was an Agfa APX400 black and white film. It was lying in the fridge for more than a year before I finally conviced myself to use it.
Processing and scanning was done at urbanfilmlab in Germany.
The pictures you see in this article are from 1 roll.

Review: Cobalt Elite Kodak Portra Film Emulations

Introduction

Sony A7III | Canon EF 50mm 1.2 L USM | f/1.2 | Cobalt Elite Portra 400 NB

I already wrote an article on Cobalt’s products here, but in the meantime they released a new line of “Elite Film Emulations”, covering some of my favorite films from the Analogue Adventures, and asked me if I want to have a look at those as well, so here we are.

Analogue Adventures – Part 23: Silbersalz35 500T Push +1

Silbersalz35 500T

The guys from Silbersalz35 were organizing a small Night Photowalk in Stuttgart and part of the package was one roll of their 500T Vision3 cinefilms that you already know from some of my previous articles. I figured this was a good opportunity to find out how the film holds up being pushed one stop so I decided to pay the entry fee and join.
Processing (ECN-2, Push +1) and scanning was done at Silbersalz35 in Germany.
